ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I am interested in the notion of human
fragility and how we, in particular
women, are identified.
It is an open investigation and
exploration, a transformation of the
figurative form, how it is shaped by
social and cultural conventions through
its architecture and construction, how
forms degenerate over time, and
reconstruct. In
this transformation, there are points in
life, where our identities are revealed,
finding or becoming who we are.
I find that using fabric
patterns, garments, photographs, and
digital imagery in the form of
silkscreen prints, paintings, collages,
and installation helps me to express
personal ideas.
