ARTIST STATEMENT
I am painting the human figure to articulate something basic and
obscure, the human primitivism versus cultured self. However, it's like
painting pieces of a puzzle, the essential is in the whole. I approach
the surface of the painting from an abstract standpoint and with the
form of the human figure comes inevitable meaning and attached to this
something subjective and personal..
